What is Accord Mediation?
Accord Mediation is independent, confidential and neutral. In a mediation, the parties are guided by Penny Feil, a qualified and accredited mediator, in the resolution of their disputes. Penny Feil as the mediator, assists parties with the negotiation process in a non threatening environment. Parties can present their issues and listen to and consider the position of the other party, to achieve a mutual and fair outcome.
Penny Feil is a mediator who is trained to help parties generate settlement options. Mediators do not impose decisions on parties. A successful mediation can avoid the need for a Court imposed decision. The Court process can involve lengthy delays, escalating costs, and emotional distress.
